I was looking for comparables before I understood that I would get replacement cost. There aren't many MY 2024s for sale out there. Plus mine had only 9900 miles and was in great shape. And a similarly equipped new one would cost $108K. All a long winded way of saying $95K might not be crazy...

Michigan is unusual. It has a strong no-fault law that provides a very generous first-party medical benefit. Part of the trade off for that generosity is that their law bars recovery for pain and suffering unless it is a serious injury. My bruises won't clear that hurdle, so I don't have any...

I agree the rear part of the power train has damage - one half shaft was ripped out of the differential. I'd guess the front part - engine and transmission - are ok, but that's just a guess.

Thanks for the reference! I prefer the prior front end but actually like the giant screen, so I could go either way. But getting a new one for no additional out of pocket is too good to pass up, so that's what I will try to do.

Good news: the claim rep confirmed it is totaled! Better news: my insurance policy will pay replacement cost - aka the cost of a new one! Bad news: re-enter the goat rodeo.
