Agreed. Not worth the "performance" gain on track when you alienate all the buyers who want the higher-spec version with a good ol' 6MT. I drove a 400 Z Proto Spec edition a few months ago. Only had 580 miles. Original owner had his name etched into the Nissan-provided "ownership plaque" but...

That is odd. Wonder how that'll change... and then change back in 4 years maybe haha. Interesting too that the OEM clutch is Luk. I know Luk is an OEM supplier, I just have familiarity with Luk from parts hunting for my Bimmers. Guess I need to research Luk a bit more, I thought it was German...
