For whatever reason, rockauto doesn't know the 19418501 part number but 10-4131 is currently $42.79 + tax + ~$10 shipping. $46 from the dealer sounds like a reasonable price to me.
I changed engine oil at 500 and plan on changing engine oil and ELSD fluid at 1500 (even though I don't plan on much track use).
I also submit oil samples to Blackstone Labs. (At 500 miles, as expected, copper and silicon were higher than average.)
If you're not convinced break in changes are...
My 5BW is my 4th manual transmission car with cruise control. With all until the BW, touching the clutch pedal would disengage cruise. But I've found that the BW gives you a window to change gears without dropping out of cruise control.
At first I thought it was a good feature; now I'm not so...
Just to weigh in, I'm another 2025 5BW precision package owner who ordered PS4S. When I used the configurator to pick options, first I selected the precision package, then I selected "summer only" tires. At the time my order was accepted by the factory (August, 2025) this was the only path to...
I'm used to it by now so it sounds like driving a car to me. It's too bad it's so much work to remove the insulator or else I would eventually spend some time doing A/B listening tests.
I saw something else that's supposed to increase supercharger noise:
How to get more WHINE!!
(There's a...
I'm at ~800 miles and have yet to take it over 3K RPM. I've mostly driven with the suspension set to tour and it's pretty stiff, probably stiffer than sport mode with my '14 CTS-V. But I like it. FYI, my 5BW is the only one I've ever driven.
It's too bad you probably won't have the chance to...
I bought their kit for my cts-v. I verified that I could both jack up the car and fit the wheel on both the front and the rear. The tire just barely fit into the spare tire wheel well. I think they do their homework. (I left it in the car when I sold it.)
I knew GM uses a engine build date code sticker so I went looking for mine. In my case used my trusty usb endoscope and found it on rear of the driver's side head, here's a pic from a Corvette:
The date code on mine starts with 2025104... So the year is 2025 and the julian day is 104 or April...
Before I gave up I had removed the big plastic panel (8-10 flat-head torx fasteners, 4 washer-bolts, and one push pin), and the fasteners from the driver's side plastic panel (3 washer-bolts) but the last panel was pinned so I put everything back together.
Maybe someone with a SI subscription...
