I am a little more than concerned that the next gen CT5 is going to be a rebadged Camaro (4-door if rumors are true) and Buick. I assume Cadillac has something special up its sleeve to set it apart from the others.
Installed Corsa couple weeks ago and man this makes the car rowdy. Although I ran into pesky CEL, I was able to relearn the valves and zero issues ever since. Definitely recommend and super happy for quiet mode so neighbors don’t hate me more than they already do.
Yeah, as @AdamUCF mentioned, a hybrid/V8 + manual combination is virtually impossible due to the massive R&D costs.
What we will likely see is a manual transmission mated to a front-engine variant of LS6 - either NA flavor (CT5-V) or supercharged (Blackwing). That said, this is all speculation.
Whatever variation they make of the LS6 to make it front engine compatible will surely mate to the existing Tremec 6mt. So yes, I assume there will be a manual LS6 type engine with manual if the blackwing is still made
Not sure how old your son is, but I would trade the 4BW for the 5BW to get the most return possible, and then find him a non-molested ATS-V coupe to hoon in. Win win and everyone is happy
