I have not unfortunately. On the three track days that I have done I've always left it on the stock power. The stock brake pads were having mild fade issues on the long straights, adding a few MPH above stock speeds and harder stopping was not something I would have liked to do personally...
I absolutely love the product. I love being able to essentially turn it off by switching it to map zero when I do track days (California Track days can easily reach 100+° F on track). I wasn't too privy on the idea of running more boost on track which would relate to more engine/oil heat. I...
They fit technically, but the pad does not cover the whole face of the rotor that was previously covered by the OEM pad. I should have taken a photo of them side by side before I returned them.
Can you post a photo of your rear rotor? I'd image there's a ring just outside the hub that isn't...
Just broke in the Z26 Powerstop pads. No notable difference on the street between these and the OEM Brembos pads.
Given how these are $140 for both front and rear and they dust a crap ton less, I consider these a solid deal.
For track days I may opt for the PowerStop Track version of these...
Just wanted to share with everyone. The 1718 rear pads DO NOT fit these cars.
The correct pad is the 1053, same pad on the ZL1. I ordered these and can confirm are a direct fit.
Just ordered both of these sets,
The rear pads do not fit same as OEM. The OEM pads are about 0.3" taller than these pads.
After some digging, it seems like the CT4 BW uses the ZL1 rear caliper. Rockauto's preview on the rear ZL1 pads looks identical to ours.
I ordered the power stop...
The 9" and 9.5" wheels I bought are literally plug'n play on the car.
The 3mm spacer is just to match up the OEM front offset. I accidentally mounted the front without the hubcentric ring and spacer and it mounted up just fine. To the naked eye, one will not notice the spacer with it without- I...
I followed DirkBGs instructions about buying some cheap black BMW caps off Amazon and using a 2&1/8th inch hole saw to cut a hole into them to use as an adapter for the OEM cap.
The caps I bought didn't have long enough "legs" to click on adequately into the wheel so I used crap tons of Hot...
No stud conversion and no spacers actually needed.
Apex recommends a 3mm up front to maintain the stock offset which I got, but without a spacer works just fine too.
Just mounted up my VS5RS wheels.
Went with the graphite color in stock sizes and tires. Looks so much better in person.
Followed another users instructions and made an adapter for the stock center caps. Car looks amazing now.
