Lots of truth right here. When I had my 4, it seemed to be happiest running 60-75 mph, maybe with a curve thrown in. The 5 seems happiest 0-60 or running 85 (or more) and the tighter the curves and the more curves, the better. It's just a great car!
Hey, thanks! I would truly LOVE to have one, but I'd probably have to get rid of my Yukon which I just bought new 6 months ago. We really can use a SUV with the dog, hauling, etc.
@Rick Cronin ...sorry to hear that. How long ago with how many miles? What did you do? Replace the engine or rebuild? My understanding is there are no more 4.2L engines. Part of my concern about buying one....which I'd love to have one.
Welcome to the forum!
I just returned from a quick trip to California. I did see a range of 360 once. My best tank was heading out on I-8, cruise set a 80. That tank was 23.3 mpg....actual, not computer.
I agree @Matt27 , but GM has killed some very good vehicles either just as they get it right, or just because....Fiero, GTO, Camaro, CT6 (especially the CT6V), Chevy SS...the list goes on. It's just GM being GM.
