What did you do to your Blackwing today?

It's always a concern to me if they use the right oil. Two times ago, there was some confusion about the "right oil". The service guy came out later and apologized and said he's new and not overly familiar with Blackwings. Last time we were good. No issues, no questions. I always Google the...

    Paint code for graphite rims

I just used some older black touch up paint from my old truck for a nick. Worked great. Something bigger it might show.

CT5-V CT5 Blackwing Deep Sea Blue?

Looks very similar to Wave Blue in the pix, which was a very nice color.

    No King?

@rubberduck ...there are multiple articles about the "next gen" CT5 due 2027, but I can't find them quickly. This from "The Drive" pretty much sums it up: "Cadillac has confirmed that there will be another internal-combustion CT5 for the American market at some point in the future. But no such...

    No King?

@SIX 40 ...I still love your car! Great color combo! Glad to hear it's been good to you.

What did you do to your Blackwing today?

Oddly, some of our cars take 8 quarts, some take 9 quarts. Mine takes 8 FWIW

CT5-V Where is everyone getting new engine air filters?

I went to Amazon for ACDelco. No issues. The other choice was Summit, thanks to @rubberduck

    Destination Charge Increase

I don't know about all Cadillac's, but on the Escalades, they raised the destination $300 and $100 on all metallic paint colors. The white color goes up $200 I think. That was GM's sneaky way of a price increase. On the Tahoe/Yukon, destination went up $300, plus $300-500 depending on the trim.

    CT5-V New '26 5BW: Some Annoyances

When we lived in VA almost 10 years ago, radar detectors were illegal AND a ticketable offense. They could stop you only for having a detector and ticket you. As I remember, some VSP vehicles had something that could detect your detector.

    Your Blackwing in the snow

What is this "snow" you speak of. Just another beautiful, cloudless, 80* day here in Arizona.

What "don't" you like about your BW"?

If it's an auto, it's on the left side of the dash near the HUD display controls. You sound like the old 2008 CTS commercial. And, yes, it still "turns me on". The rumble, the smell, the rareness, the POWER! Such great cars.

What "don't" you like about your BW"?

Man, this thread has really taken a turn. Lights that turn on, seats that cool or heat when you start up, no SD cards, oh my. I'm very thankful....no, blessed....to be able to have one of these magnificent machines. My only complain is fuel range and turning radius for a u turn. All easily...

    Media dumps

I'm not worried. It'll all work out. AI will fix everything. Not enough electric Not enough water Poor infrastructure I won't be driving in 15 years and dead in 25....so.....

    Ride differences 24 vs 25

FWIW....my 4 had the quilted seats. I found them a bit firm. My 5 has the top trim seats with carbon backs and I think they are very comfortable. So, it could be the seats. Many folks say the standard seats are very comfy too.
