1)Glad you got your car
2)Yes, the GM should have been aware
3) I don't think he was trying to pull a fast one on you (as non BW CT 4/5's typically qualify for offers... and these are so low volume that they may not have dealt with many of them and didn't notice their own fine print)
Agree, annoying but definitely on purpose. When I have a ct5 (non-Blackwing) loaner, the turning radius is much tighter.
I like to say it's to avoid us flipping them when turning at high speeds🤣
I've been telling myself that I'm gonna wait until the final MY to trade my 22 in for another 5... but option wise and hearing about the few funky 25 electronic misses (which I expect... hope... pray? will be corrected)... this is really tempting.
You better have a damn good reason if you...
I know what you're saying, but as soon as people hear my 5... they know. I get approached almost weekly and don't even have CF or the Blackwing badge (they mailed ours for MY 22 about 6 months after I got it... and it's still sitting in my desk drawer).
Star in Quakertown has a good rep from what I know (I had 2 people in the know recommend them as a dealer... not just for the BW) ...I almost went with them on my 22... but Holman near me got an allocation either at the same time or just prior and I went with the place 10 minutes away rather...
...and ~100k before replacement (w/o tracking)
... I'm holding onto mine, so I'm just thinking how much would I be spending on replacement pads and rotors during those miles anyways
I had someone literally follow me 5 miles out of their way just to tell that he saw me pass them and how much he loved everything about my car... including the color (blue calipers, shadow metallic). My daughter thought it was the coolest!
