On my V2s, I simply sucked out most of the fluid in the reservoir then partially filled it.....pumped the clutch and dirty fluid came up, then sucked that out and repeated till I got clear fluid. seemed to work. Never had any clutch problems.
My new to me 350 has Michelin Alpine all around at 295/35 19 and they’ve worked nicely in cold temps and slush. On Saturday I did get them to break traction when I gunned it to do a merge. Rear wheels spun a bit then caught traction.
I'd say measure the tread on the old tire and see how much it's worn compared to the new trend depth. A good tire shop should be able to save the new one down. Will its mess up the ECU? Won't know till you try. The speed sensors for each wheel will register different values and that might freak...
I read it differently. If the key is close enough to talk to the car, then even if the key is stationary, and sleeping, it still might be talking to the car but at a lower message rate. In fact the car has to exchange info with the fob to know the key is indeed in sleep mode. If I was still...
If you leave the hood and trunk popped open while in the garage for periods of time, the car won’t go to sleep and the sensors for them will be triggered and draw the battery down even faster.
The last manual 911 turbo S was the 996.2 generation. A manual 997.2 Turbo is very rare. They do exist but command big money. Occasionally a 996 Turbo S manual does pop up for sale
