Did anyone cross shop a 2LT C8 Corvette with a 4BW? Would be interested in any and all opinions. The 4BW 6 speed manual would be a big plus, but any other comparisons people have made?
Thanks.
I just find it very odd that there has been no mention of the '25 4V or 4BW. Very possible that the lack of sales and poor used pricing will end it. Glad I've got my '24 BW order in.
They can ask whatever they want. The market will pay what they're worth. Lots of sucker rich people in Florida. Sorry about that for those of you who are not.
This is a great summary of one of the thoughts that I've had. I previously owned a 6-speed Miata, and absolutely loved the feeling of that drivetrain. The shift action, clutch engagement; the whole experience was excellent. And I have looked at the GR86 and BRZ. But they're really hard to find...
Thanks for all the thoughts, guys. I appreciate your all spending the time to reply. I think the back seat space is the governing factor for me and, together with the 4's likely depreciation curve (even though undeserved), I'll order a 5.
As background, I currently have a 23 CT5-V. I love the space, the looks and mostly everything else about it. However, I miss having a manual and am of the opinion that the BW is not going to be around for more than a couple of years. Hence, I'm considering ordering either a 2024 4BW or a 5BW...
Has anyone here been offered anywhere near $4,600 off MSRP on a new (24) 4BW? I'm very friendly with our local dealer, and have bought 4 cars from him in the past 18 months. He offered me one that just came in at that amount off. Only catch is $796 dealer fee, but that's not a deal-breaker.
I know exactly of what you speak! I believe I once tried to list every new car I had purchased in the last 40 years, but I kept forgetting (or being reminded by my wife!) of a bunch that I forgot. It's actually relatively common among Boomer males.
