So I have a deposit down for a 2025 ct5-v blackwing. I was going to trade my 2021 bmw m4. I figure that the blackwing could be the last manual v8 and it gets such great reviews. Then I started to read about the inability to get snow tires. I use my m4 year round and put snow tires on during the...
I asked the parts department of my local Cadillac dealer about this and they said they have never done it. I live in New York and was planning to trade my M4 for a 5 blackwing but this could be a deal killer.
On a related note, do winter tires exist that fit the OEM rims? I’m considering a 5 but need snow tires in the winter. I currently have a bmw M4 and put snow tires on it.
So there are many 2025s on the Cadillac inventory site. I thought ceramic brakes were included with the precision packs but the stickers seem to indicate the precision pack is 18 and ceramic brakes 9 so 27k total. Am I missing something
I got a drift allocation the dealer already had in. But they said at the time they couldn’t get the CF packages. Build date is end of January. I may look around but don’t see any 2025s on dealer lots yet.
Unrelated question. Do you think your trade in value considers upgrades or option packages? If you get a Blackwing with 12k of the two carbon fiber packages if you trade it later will they use your vin to come up with a value or just year and mileage so you get nothing for the carbon?
Here is a picture of mine. I probably have 15k of bmw carbon parts and the bmw quad performance exhaust that I will never get me money back from the trade.
Thanks all. My local dealer has a build for end of January that has everything I want except the full carbon. I think I will put a refundable deposit down for it. Is it hard to find one with full carbon? I guess the good news is I save 12,000.
