A new competition for us all: Post your average lifetime RPM

I came across the Engine Life numbers on the dash the other day, and recalled this thread. Here are my numbers from today: BW4, Manual Trans Mileage = 6753mi Revs/10,000 = 2567 Hours = 210.9 Idle Hours = 36.5 Throat Yogurt's calculation method... 2,453.17 lifetime RPMs After subtracting idle...

I'm amazed that you hit .9 the day you got it. But I'm even more amazed that you had clear road in front of you at the Tail. Last time I was there (in 2023, on a motorcycle), it was on a random Tuesday afternoon, and it was like a funeral procession... in a line of 15+ vehicles going about...

    TPMS sensor part #?

A few of the GM parts websites, including gmpartscenter.net, and gmwholesaledirect.com, claim that Part Number: 86530815 is the correct TPMS sensor for the 2025 CT4-V Blackwing (NOTE: not the 2022-2024 model years; they claim this part is new for the 2025 model). And the gmpartscenter page for...

I switched the summer tires out for some Michelin Pilot Sport All-Season tires. Snowed a little today while I was driving, but not enough to test the tires (although they work fine in cold & wet). I'm over 4,000mi, and loving every minute of it. If you want to meet and drive to a...

Thanks. While I'm not yet convinced that all the changes are improvements (how is an electronic button-actuated parking brake a suitable replacement for a cable-actuated emergency hand brake?), some are great, and I agree with you that, overall, it is a superior experience.

Thanks. That's an awesome plate; I'm still waiting for my custom plate to come in. I haven't played with launch mode or no-lift-shift, but I've seen under 5 sec just playing around in Sport mode without abusing the clutch. I still haven't been able to convince my brain to ignore 30+ years of...

Hah. I'm still trying to probe what it can do (without flinging it into a guard rail), so admittedly still a noob. Maybe one day I'll learn to drive it for real.

That's unlikely, but you can commiserate with my wife... I think she was hoping the change in cars would have me driving more like an old man, too. But nah, I've seen over .8g around turns in the Blackwing, and it still brings a smile to my face every time.

CT4-V 4 BW Additional Cargo Anchors - where to mount

I noticed that Cadillac sells an anchor kit for Dometic coolers that "fits my car". Does anyone have any idea where they mount the anchors? I'd love to add more to my trunk, but don't see obvious locations.

Hi, I'm Dave, and, like the rest of you, I have a car problem... I got my new 2025 CT4 BW 6MT in late Sept, and have been enjoying it immensely. Currently at 2700mi, so been out of break in for a bit now. Already switched to all-season tires for winter (hasn't been cold yet, but it should...

    Hello from Austin, Tx

So, you shoehorned 305's on the back of the 4 BW? Any rubbing? What wheels & offsets?

    CT4-V 2025 CT4V Blackwing - 1100 Preliminary Order Accepted Today

Following-up... As expected, the car arrived while I was away, so it sat at the dealer for 3 weeks. They were good about it, though. Just over 6 months in the goat rodeo. I've had it for 2 weeks now, and other than having to return to the dealer because they forgot to remove the front...

    CT4-V 2025 CT4V Blackwing - 1100 Preliminary Order Accepted Today

I appreciate the advice. Thank you. Just to be clear, I'm not worried about storage costs or it being driven while the car is in Lansing. I'm worried about what the dealer is going to do if it gets delivered in early Sept, and I tell them, "Great, I'll stop by to pay for it and pick it up in...
