The next level upgraded seats were worth it for me since I wasn't a fan of the base level seats but I haven't tried those base level seats at the same time so I guess they would have been okay as well... Maybe.

I'm a big guy too but I've been trying to get back in shape so I could stay comfortable in my current Corvettes. The Corvettes are worth staying in shape for. ; ) +1 on those pictures whenever you come around to it. Congrats on your decision.

I would keep what you have unless you just want to try something different. I used to have a 23 Honda Civic type r. I found better cars so I'm not going back to that one. The small fuel tank on the CTR was annoying along with feedback from my kids that the car was simply geeky.

Maybe talk to them further and let them know your dilemma that you don't want it to be reported to Carfax - because I would be the same way. Try to see whatever you can negotiate and get as far as the reimbursement and then I agree that you should probably look into hiring someone...

I wouldn't overthink it too much especially if you're planning to enjoy it and keep it for a little while. Try to find something with low options and the essentials and go from there. GM makes good cars, and both the 4 and 5 black wings are awesome.
