    Black Diamond Tricoat production numbers

Good question. I was fascinated with the color when I first saw it on a dealer's lot many years ago. So glad they offered it on a 22-24 MY Blackwing.

    Black Diamond Tricoat production numbers

I can walk over to the garage and look at mine, but still, pictures! Pictures!! (maybe it's just a BDT thing... I know you get it my Friend!)

    Black Diamond Tricoat production numbers

Entire car, from the best shop in Colorado. Never getting rid of mine.

    Black Diamond Tricoat production numbers

With the help of David Wiese from Sewell Cadillac in Dallas, TX, I can finally confirm the 2024 production of CT5-V Blackwings offered in Black Diamond Tricoat paint. 110 total cars produced, and only 51 of them are manual. When I bought my car October 2024, the selling dealer would only tell...

    Spring Mountain sales issues

This is starting to sound like the George Costanza book-in-the-bathroom flagged episode. I don't know, but I have had great luck calling and having requests accommodated. This last time I needed an approval for extension, so I had to work directly with them. I was booked to go early December...

Oh no! I hope that was not Black Diamond Tricoat!!

    Your Blackwing in the snow

I'm sure neither of us is complaining! Such a strange weather season. I fear for the wild fire season in Colorado. It was bad last year, but is likely to be much worse this year.

    Your Blackwing in the snow

My reply was not directed at you. Just the entire posted thread. We replied at almost the identical minute, and I did not quote you. It was intended to be comical, as typically Colorado is very snowy in winter. Obviously missed the mark.

    Your Blackwing in the snow

This is such a weird post for someone who lives in Colorado. It never snows out here anymore. I washed my car 2 weeks ago in my driveway, and am driving it every few days. 6 of the next 7 days are in the mid to high 60s; The BDT will be making its rounds (y)

    Spring Mountain sales issues

The guy I sold my 2022 wanted to go to SM as the second owner and of course paid for the 2 day package. I recall him saying he had to be flexible on when he could go, as priority is always given to the original owner - singular - of a new car. I guess I would make sure whoever you are working...

    Manual transmission take rate

2 Blackwing models, 4 total variants to choose from. All great, choose what best fits your needs and wants. But the 5 manual will always be the most engaging and unique version of the Blackwing lineup.

    Cadillac V-Series paint colors 2022-26

I just saw virtually ever color Blackwing Cadillac has made, except for the curated ones, at the Rolex 24 in Daytona. The Caddy client parking lot must have had 40+ CT5-V Blackwings, and a small handful of 4s. I did not see a single Black Diamond Tricoat, but I need walk only to my garage to...

    Blackwings and Watches

Full agreement. The RM craze is a modern day Emperor's New Clothes. And they are not nearly as "authentic" race inspired watches as Lorige (and BTW, these have one digit less on the price tag). The cases are individually made from used carbon brake pads, acquired from hypercars after running...

CT5-V CT5 Blackwing Deep Ocean Blue?

Unless you love that color, don't waste the extra money. Buy it if you love it, but don't pay for the "rarity" factor.

    Cadillac F1 entry

Probably the wrong thread here, but I am heading down to Daytona for the weekend. Hope to get a close look at the Caddys (y)
