For 6MT 4BW Owners - 5th Gear Noise

Hey folks, curious if anyone else is getting a very specific noise that I am. As far as. I know, this is not the fluttery/ rattly noise that others have described from exhaust valves or waste gates.

While at slightly slower hwy speeds (50-65 maybe?), in fifth gear, I get a squeaky chirpy noise after i let off throttle and coast in gear. It seems to happen only in 5th; can't seem to replicate in 4th or 6th.

Steps to recreate:

1. Accelerate in 5th gear to 2800rpm
2. let off throttle, coast in gear
3. observe continuous squeak/ squeal as revs fall naturally from 2800 to approximate 2000

I'm coming from the infamous MT-82 6sp so I'm probably a little too paranoid with noises but worth an ask. Thanks!

Both times I've noticed it have been at full operating temp. Appreciate it!

Not one mine. But I don’t hang out at 2800 in 5th gear or go to 2K in 5th gear. That’s lugging the engine a bit.
