it appears not. Another question, can the existing badge be tinted without compromising the sensor? Being honest, I’m not exactly sure what type of sensor is in the badge or how it transmits through the badge. Without knowing that, it’s hard to tell what I’m trying to protect for when thinking of tinting the badge.
Microwave. One needs to know the dielectric constant of the material that is placed over the transmitter/receiver. Unless a person has some knowledge of RF engineering, covering the sensor is risky. If an accident occurs and lawyers get involved it could get expensive and messy. The risk/reward for changing the badge color seems hardly worth it.
404 parts has a black-edged front emblem. It's factory and modified but center section retains ACC sensor transparency. Removal: pull the old one off with Vicegrips from the top center.....
