Format in Windows Explorer gives you the choice of Format.

All 2025-26 CT5. It is based on having Android Automotive as the OS. In other words, you have the 33” screen.

Windows Explorer only allows max 32gb for FAT32. Beyond 32gb, they want you to use exFAT.

I noticed Gemini just appeared, I think from an OTA. Where would I go to see if SVR is now available?

Gemini is a separate thing that wasn't part of an OTA specifically. You need a previous ota to be eligible then it was just something made available by Google/GM.
The SVR app shows up as "Recordings". It will be added as the last icon on the right.

I've got a new(ish) 2026 5VBW that hasn't shown me any updates yet. Any tips/tricks folks have found to get the updates to show? Should i just spring for an SPS2 one-month subscription and do it myself?

You can request the dealer do it...
...but I too am holding out hope. I really don't want to have to bother taking it to the dealer...

My strategy has been to check the www.acdelcotds site, Resources -> SPS Information, then enter my VIN, select A11, selelct "Prepare for Delta Programming/USB File" and ""Normal", then pick my part number and see if the checksums have changed since last time.
My 2025 last updated on August 8th, 2025 so I'm hoping the update will drop soon. Given the security threats out there it's ridiculous to be running years-outdated software. (And by the time I get the update it'll be more than a year out of date!)

This only works if the update has been release for your module. It's not like an iphone where they drop an update and you can manually poll for it but it only gets pushed to phones in phases spread over time to reduce impact to download resources. Same goes for using SPS2 to update (otherwise I'd have the update already).

SPS is per vin. And wtf they just effectively massively upped the price of it. A subscription used to be $47 for 2yrs for a vin and now it's $51 for a vin for one month. I guess I really need to be careful so I don't run mine out of programming events now. Sheesh.

Uhh I'm pretty certain you can just install it without being offered the update with SPS. I have done multiple this way and haven't had to wait to get it OTA.

Yeah I don't know what the number is. I actually hit it once because I don't know what I'm doing. I contacted GM support and they said I hit the limit but gave me a one time redo without making me pay again. Now I'm sure I would hit the one month limit before I'd hit the programming limit.
