New escort 360c maxcam installed

So I ordered a new escort max amount 360c radar detector, ordered mirror mount and hard wired to map light.
Perfect fit straight forward install,wires to tap into are red and black for power and ground.

remove the plastic around the mirror and tap into the red and black wire going to the map light,this radar has a built in camera that records live video when car is parked so the powers needs to stay on when the car is turned off.

After reading about a bunch of issues with the MaxCam 360c, what is your honest opinion on the detector? Is it worth the price point? Most of the issues do seem to be related to the apps and software on the unit, which should be updated eventually with patches. Just seems like a lot of bugs for a $850 detector.
