In the past, you probably wouldn’t know for at least 20 years if a car even had the potential to become collectible in another 20-30 years after that. It’ll be interesting to see how these asinine 2035-2040-ish ICE phaseout mandates affect things, but it’s still a long game to play for most of us.

Well, your car was just behind mine on the production line, so I guess that makes it special?. 2026 4BW #46-382 here.

Nothing particularly collectable about these cars IMHO. But 4BW are a truly special blend of performance, looks, and luxury for the price point. Drive the f**k out of it and enjoy every moment, that's what will be collectable. Or at least that's what I'm gonna do

Per the GM build counts site (Vehicles | GM Build Counts), there were 884 BW-4s produced in 2026, and 6,177 produced over the 5 year production run. This is an excellent site and I believe it is pretty accurate. You can see individual window stickers for every car produced and search by many different categories.

Great site, I was able to find out how many manual CT5-V BLACKWINGs were produced in 2023(1044). And how many were manuals in Infrared Tintcoat(87). Thanks for sharing the site.
