Occasionally, I can hear the driver-side mixer servo hunting back and forth, making a rather annoying whirring/flapping sound. Running the temp all the way up or down to the extremes will stop it when it's happening.
Has anybody replaced it on their own or had it replaced? I've read posts from base CTS owners that said they replaced theirs in their driveway with basic hand tools and the dash didn't have to come apart. I'm trying to reconcile that with my dealer quoting ~$3,500 for replacing it and the dash having to come apart! I've taken the center stack apart myself a few times and I just don't have it in me to go there again, and I simply don't trust my dealer to go there either...
