CF Steering Wheel

Took me three hours. Totally worth it (ran into some issues along the way, but all is good).

Fitment is 10/10 and the weave matches pretty well to the center console.

Ordered it from China, via eBay, and I was able to work with the seller to retain the heating function. I tested it and it works fine. About $600. Took about 1.5 months for delivery.

They do look good. I did it on my ATS-V, but that wheel was really sad looking. The CT4BW wheel is not bad. My "perforated leather" was actually vinyl. Obviously every vendor will do this differently. They could not explain why they are advertising leather while installing vinyl. Took a torch to get that center bolt off as it is loctited on there really good. The wheel was also clocked at a slight angle so I had to get an alignment to straighten. I also did not love carbon fiber on the top grip surfaces. It really should be some sort of soft grippy surface.

Yeah I had to ask the seller to use smooth leather instead of the perforated leather so it would match the rest of my car's interior. TBH, I'm not sure if it's real leather, but it feels like it and the overall quality is solid. The center bolt was one of my main issues as well. Luckily I had one of those old school steering wheels locks, so I put that on and used my knee to push against it to counter the pressure of the breaker bar - once I did that, it broke loose nicely. I can't really imagine any other way to prevent the steering wheel from turning while trying to take the bolt off. There are actually three larger grooves within the splines of the steering wheel, so the steering wheel gets put back on perfectly aligned. I'm loving it so far. Sounds like you may like the alcantara steering wheel.
