2022 ct4v blackwing
I want to get an AWE exhaust system for my CT4V blackwing; Yesterday I spoke with two service advisors that told me they have turned down warranty work because of an aftermarket exhaust and did not recommend it. What do you guys think?

Did AWE come out with a CB for the 4's? I've only seen for the 5 so far. As to the tech's, I'd have asked what the warranty claim was for. Exhaust really has no effect on anything before it.

A common problem in the world today is people that think they know something. There have been numerous court cases on this issue and the precedent has been well established. GM would have to prove/document that your after market part was the cause of the failure at issue in a warranty claim in order to deny it. The service advisors can tell you whatever they like, a small claims court will tell them how the law works and that they MUST pay the warranty claim. The mere presence of after market parts DOES NOT void a warranty.

Consider the ARH downpipes and full system. I have their down pipes now and will do their full system towards the end of this year.

When am I getting that sound clip of the down pipes doing their thing?

Thank you for the reply. I did see those ARH downpipes; very tempting.

Looks like there are no valves on the 5BW system?
