Wouldn't it be amazing if Cadillac were to return to IMSA with the CT4 V BW in either the GT or GS classes? It's a heavy car, but by the time you got rid of the weight of the interior, and added race body doors and panels it could get down to fighting trim. You have to figure the LF4 has more than enough room to make competitive power in those classes. With all the brands going electric maybe two maybe three more years to joust with the germans from Audi and BMW in the class. How is electrified endurance racing even going to work? Deep cycling the batteries at high discharge rates is proving tough to finance for the formula one teams, I don't see the IMSA teams swinging it...
