I have never been a fan of the cheap OEM lug nuts on these cars, or the way the front sits in more recessed than the rear. I custom designed my Exhibitions Of Speed (EOS) titanium lug nuts around the CT5-V platform as a quality component to add aesthetics, increase performance and reduce weight.

Most have noticed the OEM lug nuts are quite heavy and often do not fit into the lug nut recess of many aftermarket wheels. The OEM pieces are designed as an open ended lug nut with a chrome cap that is prone to heat swell and distortion. They also sit deeper into the lug nut recess which increases the chances of marring with a socket. This titanium setup eliminates all those problems.

These EOS pieces come in at $485 shipped for the set and I have some sets in production now. Below are some of the benefits and photos. Compatible with OEM and aftermarket wheels. Currently there is no wheel lock option. You would utilize your OEM piece if you felt the need for one.
  • Crafted in the US from the finest grade 6 titanium (6Al-4V)
  • Higher tolerance to heat swelling and distortion
  • 19mm hex head design reduces the need for speciality sockets
  • Increased lug nut recess clearance
  • OEM 60 degree conical head for proper lug nut seat engagement
  • 50% weight reduction over OEM
  • Corrosion resistant natural titanium finish
  • Open ended design to work with various stud lengths
  • Black lug nut covers optional for the closed ended look
  • Equal front and rear lug nut protrusion

Do these work with an impact wrench with the stock torque specs no prob?

How do they look against the gloss bronze? 😉
These will for sure work with an impact wrench and OEM dry specs. Generally I recommend installing these by hand since titanium is the harder metal over the OEM stud. It's best not to cross thread the stud.

I do recommend a slight adjustment in torque if you use our recommended ARP assembly lubricant. It's good to prevent galling when using dissimilar metals on lug nuts that are not removed often. Unlike a track car that will have wheels on/off frequently.

Here are some shots against bronze-ish wheels. Some with and without the cap. I am definitely a fan.
