2024 CT5-V BLACKWING Rear Differential Fluid Change

Hello, I have a 2024 CT5 V BLACKWING. I am approaching 1500 miles and I would like to change the rear differential fluid. What fluid do I need? How much fluid is needed? Does anyone have any pictures of the rear differential? assume there is two plugs, fill and drain. Did anyone make a video on this? I appreciate any feedback. Thank you in advance.

Is this common to change the rear differential fluid at 1500 miles? I understand a break oil change, but can the rear diff fluid exchange really prolong its life?

Use OEM ac Delco fluid. It's easier than an oil change. Just need a little pump.

With modern diffys probably not. I changed mine at 1200 miles because I could. I ran a magnet through the old oil and nada.

I changed mine at 11k and it was not even that dirty. No need to change it early unless you’re tracking.

Very easy to change. I didn't even jack it up and my fat ass had enough room under there.

Any chance you could get an oil analysis done on the leftover new oil? I'm curious to see if there is a good aftermarket match and what the GM fluid looks like.

Biggest reason alot of us stay with OEM oil is the amount of friction modifiers thats usually mixed into them. Most aftermarket fluid would need friction modifiers from what Ive seen with other GM diffs.
