1400 miles back to SoCal. Briefly went to Mexico and learned 5th gear tops out at 150. I followed the break in for about 100-200 miles then said screw it and went full send. Very fun road trip 😁
I had a very different experience. Ordered a 25 from him, called me to confirm the build when the allocation was ready, and kept me in the loop during the build process. Once it arrived I flew in and he picked me up from the airport. Was a great experience!
I also have an ND2 Miata and 4BW - both with stick. Test drove the ITS before picking the BW. You won't be disappointed. Can have some fun at legalish speeds and the canyons, but very comfortable when you just wanna cruise. I've got the upgraded seats in tan and the only real complaint is it can...
Tacos are all that's left truck wise. Gladiators are no longer made in manuals but there are still a few available brand new. Bronco and Wrangler round out the rest for the big cars with a stick.
Try test driving an Si and a CTR/ITS if you can. The Si has rev hang that I found really annoying that wasn't present on the ITS. I really enjoyed the ITS but ended up going with a 4V BW instead. Worse practicality and price but felt the driving dynamics were worth it.
I ordered my CT4 with Dustin at Sewell Dallas in Nov '24 and it arrived first week of Feb. Less than 4 months with the allocation he had available. Personally would go the buy back route if offered.
