True! Definitely gets bright on a blue sky day with the white stuff on the ground (like today up here!) But I'm biased towards no tint on the windshield and just using sunglasses for such conditions. Sunglasses can come off at night (at least for some!)

Still waiting on my 5BW to be delivered... But the 35% rear/side windows has been my go to for past vehicles... Seems the right balance of look and still great visibility for my eyes. However, maybe I'd consider darker if I lived in a sunnier 12 month climate? Driving a dark-as-sh!t tint...

That E39 is dope. I’m a 35% rear and sides guy, nothing on the windshield.

You could also just pay $162K and pocket $70K rather than financing at 7%! But maybe that's obvious :) BTW - did you order the 5BW from Forbes in Kitchener? I was #2 on their list (behind the still to be delivered 2022 model) but backed out when I received an allocation from Barry Cullen in...

Hard to say, but I'd assume their plan all along with for at least a 3 model year run. Generally a low-volume car like this is not a profitable endeavor on it's own...but rather more branding/halo car project that is less dependent on sales data, etc. I wouldn't imagine Car&Driver reviews...

I mostly agree. But you wonder a little about damage to the paint and whatnot… Still, I’ll end up getting some level of paint correction and ceramic done once it arrives, so not a huge deal.

Oh I’m aware of the goat rodeo! But it seems to be pretty inconsistent whether you get the looooong delivery wait or something more reasonable like a month or two. Either way. Happy that I will eventually have one. According to the VIN, I must be #358 of the ‘23 5BWs

How’s it going with the OZ/Vredstein setup? Thinking it’s the most likely choice for driving this thing in Ontario next winter. Have you had it out much in snow yet?

I have nothing to add to this thread (yet) as I await my 2023 5BW in Wave Blue. But I much appreciate it. Build week of Nov 21st apparently.... fingers crossed it arrives in time for spring! I want multiple angles of those Wave Blue 5BW with tech bronze wheels! :D

I agree, a couple front and rear angled shots would be nice to get a view of the widths. Wheels look great.
