I had a place in Port Jeff Station do my 5BW with correction, 5 year (claimed) ceramic coating and 20% tint all around for $1300. Very nice job.
Water does roll off easily but not completely. Dirt will still build up but not nearly as bad as without the coating
My wife did the same as we were pulling out of the dealership. Admittedly, I was unaware that was coming as well. Though my response to her scream was "Now THAT is cool". 😎
As long as the shop you're using knows what they're doing, I would let them handle removal and installation. As much as I consider myself mechanically inclined, seat belts and airbags are not things I mess with myself.
I'll take that airport rate any day. NY City airport parking lots are now $39/day. That has been a boon for ride shares since Uber/Lyft round-trip is inevitably cheaper than the parking lot.
I was kind of thinking the same thing at first. I am also of the mind: Buyer Beware. And maybe @Jojo44 should have known what to look for on a 1 of 250 car (e.g. sill plate signature and collector series plate). But then I think about how most of us have probably been on the bad end of some...
I, for one, will NOT be doing a GIF search for this term (as funny as it might be to actually see what comes up). I have more than my share of cringy ads and suggested-follows popping up in my social media feeds. 😬 🤣
The not-so-funny thing about this post is that when you received your 5BW, that AmEx card paid for more than one fill-up. But today??? Yea, first fill-up is pretty accurate.
I think confusion stems from the limited usefulness of the Jack Cooper status. JC mainly handles the transport of cars from the GM assembly plant to the GM holding lots and train shipping yards. JC will only show the status of the most recent delivery point. After that, as cars further move...
So given their popularity and the preponderance of CT4 and CT5 automatics on the road, is there a reason that Cadillac won't make a monochrome or onyx one for automatics with adaptive cruise control module built in?
Even the rear seat leather has a ripple in it. That's pretty crappy looking for only 1500 miles. I have 2700 miles and my seats are nowhere near as worn looking.
At Spring Mountain two weeks ago, the instructors specifically asked the M6 drivers to not engage the parking brake after track sessions to avoid causing issues with the hot brakes resulting in warped rotors. So not sure whether they might have just been over cautious.
This may be a conscious engineering decision to avoid automatic engagement in the event the brakes and rotors are super hot from tracking sessions. Though given the amount of technology and customization, you would think there would be an option to disable auto-engagement for such events or...
I had a custom frame made through thriftysigns.com. Created it on their website using some screen snips of the logos. Cost $14. Admittedly they're did nothing more than print stickers and apply to a blank frame which I likely could have done on my own.
Before installing, I ran a bead of clear...
