    HUD without data recorder?

I don't get it....I have had the HUD on my vehicles for the past 7 years and I don't think I ever look at it. I have never looked at whatever the PDR is recording.....unless I get into an accident or something along these lines, why would I?

Dealer says my 2023 CT4-V B/W with 14K miles needs rear break pads replaced? I love this car and a pretty gentle driver.

People have been complaining about "warped" rotors since the atsv. They let the dealer turn them and then end up replacing them a few weeks later. In most cases the rotors just had some pad buildup that would have burnished off with more aggressive street use. Just something to keep in mind. You...

    Media dumps

To be honest, I would have wanted more straight line speed from the 4. It's capable of more. My tunned 25% ethanol ATSV was all that I would have wanted in that department. Now that I am in the 4bw, I will get back on that horse when the warranty expires. Without the crazy to me cost of the 5...

Potential Tremec M6 Reverse Lockout Issue

Tale as old as time. This goes back to the inception of this tranny. Just get used to it.

    Matte on blue BW?

I don't like it. I like matte on a number of boring colors: black, silver, grays, buy not blue. Loud colors look good loud.

    Patch this tire or replace?

Its a combination plug/patch. I believe that is the only "approved" method of patching the tires by whatever entity approves these sort of things. At least that's what they say. I often just plug it myself because they scratch the wheel almost every time they take the tires off.

    Patch this tire or replace?

Repair. It's far from the shoulder.

    R33 GTR as 4BW companion?

^^ That there brings back a lot of nostalgic memories.

Upcoming 11 hr drive in 5BW through cold and some rain. Thoughts?

Oem style caps are under $3 for 10 on ebay and aliexpress. Can't remember which I used when I bought them

    Official Cyber Yellow Thread

Nea. There are GM trucks painted that color. Nothing special about that. I think maybe a matte color gives the car some level of "special". There is a number of bold bright colors in the blackwing lineup, but I don't think any of them are special. Besides maybe Electric Blue and even that is on...

CT4-V Open exhaust valves without burbles/pops?

It's not about the exhaust valves. It's in the tuning. Don't overthink it. It's good as is. The car needs a little theater.

Pics of your Blackwing in regular parking spots

My recommendation is NOT to lower it. Its hard enough to keep the splitter from scraping on everything, the car sits good as is, you don't want to screw with finely tunned suspension that many very knowledgeble engineers painstakenly developed and refined. Also taking an inch out of already...

    Clutch chatter

I had chatter on my ats-v at 13k miles when I bought it and it was still doing the same at 34k when I sold it. It didn't get any worse and no remidiation was attempted.

CT4-V Possible to add High Performance steering wheel later?

I would pay to delete an Alcantara option. Using this material on areas handled every time you drive is madness. Unless you want to wear gloves every time you drive. I sure don't.

When Do You Change Your Oil?

It's not just time. It's a sophisticated algorithm that factors in time, mileage, operating temperatures, cold starts, etc....a lot of very knowledgeable engineers spent years developing it. I wouldn't secondguess unless you just want to change earlier than it's calling. Probably not needed, but...

CT5-V Rear seat center seat belt

For me, it's getting some more color into that black hole of an interior. Just jewelery, really.

When Do You Change Your Oil?

Closer to 5%, but only because it is time dictated and is coming up on a year old oil with less than 3k miles. Go by the indicator and you will be good.
