    CT4-V CT4BW JB4 Review on 91 Oct with Datalog

I installed mine about a week ago. Ran map 0 for a bit and kept an eye on it, then moved to map 1. Sent log to Terry to review yesterday, and it seemed ok, though it was only a part throttle log. I'll log a full throttle run when I get an opportunity (don't get to often) and see what that looks...

CT4-V Used or new CT4V BW?

I am not sure where you are seeing these type of prices. Used 22s have bben going for low to high 50s private sale. Thats what I have been seeing on Facebook. These cars have a pretty bad resale value. Not a car I would buy new if I was concerned with that.

3,000 miles, rotors warped, GM won't replace

Babying it is how you get pad buildup that people mistake for warped rotors.

3,000 miles, rotors warped, GM won't replace

In MOST cases that I have seen here and on FB since the 2016 ATS-Vs, if you pursue this with GM they will turn them, which never fixes the issue of driving habits/style/conditions. They will then be installing a new set a month or so later either on their or your dime. And then the same issue...

3,000 miles, rotors warped, GM won't replace

They are not warped. Do a search on a topic in google and IA will tell you all about it. Sorry tired of typing the same thing every time this question comes up 3 times a week.

    Blown engine

There are no issues with the lf4 engine. Keep your oil in good shape (there are numerous ways not to) and they are ery reliable. I have read a few spun bearings on a stock car over the 8 years I have been with this engine but literally less than a hadfull. It is not clear how truthful the...

What did you do to your Blackwing today?

^I've done the same. Needs lots of heat before tugging to soften up these clips.

CT4-V Disappointed after lengthy Test drive

The BMW M440i xDrive has the same straight line acceleration as the ct4bw.

T-Boned a Red Light Runner in my 5BW 😠 Adios collectible value

I have filed a diminished value claim against the other driver's insurance (which was also my own insurance company). State Farm fought like hell not to pay diddly squat. First they offered a few hundred dollars, I hired an independent assessor and presented them with a formal report. They...

CT4-V POWER Folding Side Mirrors for CT4/V/BW?

Why would you want this? What is the point in this feature? How many times is it going to operate before it stops.

    AFM or DFM ?

No. There is no cylinder deactivation.

    ORDER TO DELIVERY TIME

A REAL LOW IQ POSTER. TOTALLY INCOMPETENT!!

There's a CT4 BW on carsandbids. Just an FYI in case someone is looking for one.

I wish my car had a sunroof. I drive with windows open into upper 80s and down into 40s. At 5'8", head clearance is not an issue and the weight savings are meaningless.

    For anyone using wheel spacers...

5mm is too much. I had that on my atsv and it resulted in half the thread engagement on the studs. I would not recommend it. Discount tire would not put these wheels back on with these spacers on if they ever take them off.

Blown Engine(add me to the list)

Main reason I didnt stretch for a 5bw and settled for a 4.

Is the CT4V Blackwing fun at legal-ish speeds

I dont think you are coming back to fwd after the ct4bw.

    4BW hood with carbon insert

Its just a dent. A skilled paint-less dent repair place should either completely eliminate it or nearly completely. These guys do what looks like magic to the common man. I know its aluminum, but they should be able to handle it. Consider that before you spend $2k or whatever it is to replace.

    Purchaser Paradoxes

The noise that the CT5BW makes with an aftermarket exhaust (maybe even stock). I love it. The only thing of value to me that I am missing out with my 4BW.

    Purchaser Paradoxes

30-40 something car enthusiasts is more like it. Honestly the only thing that really draws me to the 5 is the noise. I dont like big cars and that engine issue on the 5 just not worth the price for that risk. A tuned 4 is plenty go for me and the handing is magical. It is more nimble than the 5...
