It's a bit early for plugs. Let the dealer figure it out. It's GM's problem for now.

How many miles? Plugs are always the first suspect in cases like this. If the car has been tuned by someone who doesn't know what they are doing with this platform, the throttle would be closing when the peak torque is reached.. IF the car has been tuned.

There is a card and it does run and record. No reason to turn it off, just no reason to see what's on there.

I also don't understand why folks are so adamant on getting the pdr. The car I bought had it and I am pretty sure I will never look at what's on that card unless I get into an accident or something. Completely useless to me. I would not pay a penny for it if I was specing out the car new.

I have not done this before, but reading reviews, the product does what it is meant to do. I would mask around the piping and put down a few coats of spray paint like Dupli-Color HVP-100 (if vinyl). Leather specific spray paint is available on Etsy, but I am sure elsewhere as well. Nothing...

I would like to paint my 4BW (black leather seat) white piping red, but would like to confirm whether the piping is leather or vinyl so I can use appropriate spray paint. Does anyone know for certain? I am not sure I can tell just by looking at it under magnification.
