    Auto vs. Manual

I hope y'all indulge the hi-jacking a tiny bit longer.......... :) I love all things fast & loud. Boats are somewhat unique in that your budget is usually the only limiting factor to how fast you can go. Are you kidding though !?!?!? Speeding tickets on the water ?!?!? I presume no such...

Hummer trade for ct5v black wing

I haven't kept up with H1 Hummer prices, but I bet he brought $$$ with that truck for the BW, or the BW had super high mileage...........or both.

Road side assistance - limit and aggravation

Its not just warranty. When I hit the rock and busted my rim, they came and got me. Same policy though - only free to nearest dealer. Luckily for me, that was still nearly 3 hours away, but they came anyway. Here's the whole story...

    Auto vs. Manual

That's what trucks are for :) Nice boat. One big block or 2 ? Everybody on the water hears you fire it up don't they :) :) :)

Finally Let the Stingray Go — Blackwing Now My Only Fun Car

Gently used, I get it. But this is not even broken in. I mean, he swapped it out after only putting 2 tanks of gas in it !!! Must've REALLY needed the money for an emergency. It just doesn't make sense, 'cuz I'm sure he lost WAY more than $13K.....

    Blackwings and Watches

Nice Daytona !! Were you speeding away from the place/person in Mexico where you got it ? :)

    Auto vs. Manual

Manual tranny with the V8 was the only reason I considered the vehicle..........and paid so much for it :) My very first car was a '66 mustang inherited from my Dad when I was too young to drive it. But I started working on it to be ready when I turned 16. It was Ford's crappy green-dot auto...

Spring Mountain Driving School. How come I was Never informed of this by ANYONE!?

I guess the thread fell down in the rankings, but look for it - there are probably over 1,000 replies. There was even another similar thread that was active recently. And they all gush at how great an experience it is. Most people's first driver training on a closed course, but it was...

Slow leak, guidance on how to proceed

Discount tire is good advice - they'll do it for free usually.

    Probably Dumb Questions

MyMode is also remembered when you get back into the car. V-Mode has to be manually started every time. That's so ridiculous they ruined one of the car's best features for 2025 !!!

    I'm Asking Because I Simply Don't Know...

As OP pointed out, the mag-ride shocks are something I've worried about. But mag-ride in general is pretty widely used. GM uses it on many models for years. I doubt they're interchangeable, but hopefully there will be supplies in the future. I thought someone already had to replace one ? I was...

Am I the only one here interested in vintage vehicles?

    A pic of a cover ? Doesn't count............. :(

Am I the only one here interested in vintage vehicles?

Far too few pics of people's old cars here - that's what I thought we'd see a lot of. :)

    I'm a liar

Funny - Harley guys do the same thing - chrome whatever wasn't originally chrome, and paint whatever was originally chrome. I love chrome :)

    Proximity Locking Questions

Auto lock is the feature that makes keyless entry worth it. Just set it to auto-lock (agree that it seems to be a function of time rather than proximity), and then set the indicator to lights only. Nothing is worse than getting out of the car in your own garage, only to be started when the horn...
