Hey everyone Just wondering how everyone else installed the inside cable for their jb4, I get the quick and dirty method but wanted to just go ahead and do it properly without removing the cowl. Any suggestions or pics would be greatly appreciated.

Could the jb4 be used to tune it for maybe a 50-60hp increase and not have to worry about the colder plugs?

Looks good, I used to run the jb4 on my 335i n54 years ago, great platform and being able to submit logs etc is nice too.

what data points where you able to capture? Were you able to see afr/ignition etc? Glad to see this coming as a tuning option.

Yeah seems like it’s in beta but looks promising, their charts show alot of info including AFR/timing etc which is nice to know we can send in logs etc and dial in the tune

Yeah my 4BW has none of those issues I’m 7k miles in and my 1-2 isnt clunky at all and smooth. Sounds like you got a bad tranny, that should be noticeable to any dealers

Yes, it’s the airbag sensor thing. Take it to the dealer and they have to fix the connector or re-attach it.

Did the light go away?

Keep us posted, I wish we had more transparency in how the ecm reacts, also I wonder if perhaps the light goes off but the code is present? Probably not but re-learning seems not likely either. We need this ecm cracked!!!

How was the bending of the transmission lines, that part has me a little spooked and can you post an update after 200 miles on whether the cel light comes on?

Thank you for the transparency and explanation behind it all. These new Ecm’s are very difficult to crack, hopefully one day you will be able to see the important info remotely.
