    ct4 v blackwing upgraded rotors

Is it the same pad as the zl1 rear? I haven't got around to looking it up yet.

    ct4 v blackwing upgraded rotors

The rears aren't correct. We have the same fronts as the Camaro SS but not the rear. Mbar mentioned he thought it was the zl1 rear brake.

    New ECUs finally unlocked??

Can you elaborate a bit on the differences? The unlocked ECM route is nearly double what you guys were charging for your TTM + dyno setup on a 4BW. What advantages are offered to that individual who is spending an extra $1500-2000? In regards to shipping the ECM, I know people have been...

    Track mode engine/throttle reponse dull

I'm sure the shifts are more aggressive in an automatic but I do think the throttle becomes more progressive when you select engine to track. Kind of like the brake pad feel on track setting is more progressive. But I haven't tested it back to back much on the street much to know for certain.

    Has anyone driven 992 Manual?

Not sure on a 992 but the 996/997/987/981 all had crappy shifters. A lot of plastic that doesn't feel great new and gets really floppy when used for awhile. The 991 GTS I drove was a bit better and I'm sure the 981 GT4 probably had a different shifter setup. However, Numeric exists for all of...

    Brake fluid exchange procedure

Ya. If you happen to have a 1.5hp or larger air compressor then you can also use tools like these: https://www.amazon.com/BILITOOLS-Pneumatic-Bleeding-Extractor-Refilling/dp/B09PYBGVSQ/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8

    Brake fluid exchange procedure

You could try it and see. Ideally you should be using a pressure bleeder like a Motive.

CT4-V Cadillac announces new CT4-V BW Mondrian Editions

So they are making special editions based off the design style of their v badge. I think they're missing out. Next year we can have special editions based on the shape of the tires. "Since our inception, Cadillac has raced our vehicles under a single iconic tire shape"

For the sake of resale value I hope this is a mistake

I'm not saying 630 vehicles are on dealer lots. All traditional vehicle manufacturers that I know of list both dealer and customer produced orders automatically on these sites. What it does represent is the quantity of vehicles making into the hands of dealers and customers. If this number is...

For the sake of resale value I hope this is a mistake

I feel it's a very good tool for measurement because the original topic was residuals and has expanded to price adjustments and availabity. If you have high numbers on Autotrader then it means that vehicle is readily making into both dealer and customer's hands. Price adjustments and excessive...

For the sake of resale value I hope this is a mistake

I know the price isn't the same but the 4BW is just a 4 door SS 1LE. They even have an almost identical lightning lap time. Also, just as a general statement, the dealers are ordering too many of the 4. There are 630 listed on Autotrader and that's way too many for a niche vehicle. It's why...

I’ve found the secret sauce (track pads)

Here's what mine look like installed.

I’ve found the secret sauce (track pads)

I finally got around to installing these pads. The fronts went on fine but the rears I ended up putting back in the box. I knew going in that the pad would be short about a 1/4" on the bottom. But the pad material itself sits higher on the SR11 ATS-V pad. It actually sits higher than the...

    Retrofit carbon ceramic brakes?

Does it? You'd have to have well over 200,000 miles on the car to even get close to break even from standard rotor/pad replacements compared to CCB. Logically at their current prices, they make no financial sense. It's just an option you get because you want it.

    Sunroof explosion.....WTF??

A feral child jumped on top of the car and punched a hole through the glass trying to get to the candy I was throwing out.

Why choose a CT4 BW over a new BMW M3? Sincerely asking.

There is a high probability that I'll still own a G80. There are practically no choices for manuals in this price segment. When I get rid of my car I'm going to want something different. So unless I decide not to get a manual then it's BMW.

For the sake of resale value I hope this is a mistake

It's a refresh so the primary changes will be inside the cabin which would hold across all models in the line up. On the exterior you have a different front bumper and front fenders. They could continue with no changes on the outside or simply change the front bumper design slightly. There...

    Seat Options

I was joking with my wife that if I get a M3 for my next car that I'm getting the carbon buckets because she was complaining about the thigh bolster on my current seats. I showed her a picture of the buckets and she asked if the center piece between the legs offered a massage option.

    2024 Configurator live

I'm more of a BMW San Paulo Yellow kind of guy. I feel like the yellow on the ct4 is already used on enough cars. It's the same yellow they put on camaros isn't it? I see that yellow practically every day.

    2024 price increase(Both CT4 and CT5)

I understand they're not full carbon seats, they're not even buckets like the BMW and Porsche. My main point was that Porsche charges $5900 for a full upgraded carbon bucket package. BMW charges you $4500 to upgrade to carbon buckets. GM is charging $5200 to upgrade the leather and seat back...
