A lot of the Cadillac dealers ordered configurations that didn't take into account the main appeal, a manual transmission sedan. They just went with what they thought the local market would want and didn't take into account the rareity of a manual. No surprises there...
As far as trade-in...
I had a chance to get a Circuit at MSRP and passed. I put in a front facing no problem. Rear facing seat should be fine. There's more room back there than the CT4 and Acura ITS. I've haven't checked out the FL5 rear seat yet. My '17 FK8 had plenty.
I decided to go with the carbon fiber seats and adjusted the order. Almost went CCB's but they seem to be finicky in cold climates.
I asked about waiting for the '25 refresh and they were able to confirm a '25 CT5 but not the Blackwing.
Just found out that GM accepted the '24 build and I'm...
I'm 5'11, 220 lbs. and have a ZL1 1LE. I can't speak to the regular V, but the BW base seats are comfortable for long trips but need more lateral support when pushed. Nothing like the ZLE seats, which are much more supportive. They're also very easy to get in and out of quickly.
Mid- level...
Two questions about the high performance seats:
1. Is there a big difference in comfort and bolstering/snugness between the two high performance seat options on long road trips or track time.
2. The massage function on my Escalade turns off after 20 minutes and there's no way to extend the...
Is there a consumer product?
I went to the site and it seems that it's only geared toward dealers and required sending an inquiry to get pricing after they verify your business.
I'm older and not driving a car, time to consider moving on. Good news is the '22 resale benefits from the '23 MSRP price hike. Currently, I'd list it for '22 MSRP and expect a little less. In several months.... hard to say....GM is offering bigger discounts on the CT4-V Blackwing's and just...
I know a lot of the Porsche owners that have CCB's and run them at HPDE's swap them for steel and them put them back when they're ready to sell the car.
Hmmmm....I didn't think about the programming aspect. If that's the case, it sounds like CCB for street is the way to go for convenience.

Thanks for the CF1&2 clarification.
Love the CF seatbacks, but I'm taking that money and budgeting for the CF1 package for track functionality.
I may go with the Black wheels and Red calipers. The Bronze don't disappear like the Black, but painted calipers (other than Grey) help a bit.
I was reading some articles that state the CF packages increase downforce in the CT5-V by another 75% but they don't specify if that's CF1 or CF1&2. I know with the CT4-V, CF1 is the one to get. Does this apply to the CT5-V?
