I never clear coated my calipers but you can if you want to seal in the decal or make them shinier. I wanted to be able to change out the decal if needed. For some cars where I have painted the calipers black I don't even tape up the pads. They get painted black and disappear behind the wheel...

The first guy I talked to tried to get me in for an inspection and then they would order the part. Someone else ordered it and then I went in for the repair. It's a recall. They have to install the part regardless.

It doesn't hurt to ask for the employee discount. A friend was able to get the employee discount on a 18 Camaro ZL1 1LE when they first came out. The dealer dropped the mark up too.

I've always had good results with off the shelf caliper paint. The calipers can be painted on the car. Just tape up everything. Brembo stickers can be found on Amazon and eBay and can be clear coated. I didn't clear coat mine and they never peeled. These are my Camaro SS calipers repainted.

It's awesome that your dealer is going to pay for a Cadillac dealer inspection and brake job. That could come out to a big bill with OEM pads. There is only one wear sensor for the front pads and one for the rear.

I once had a throttle controller on my 16 Camaro SS. If the Camaro gas pedal is similar to the CT5, to remove the pedal, remove the 10mm bolt and slide the pedal upward toward the firewall. There is a tab in the pedal that slides into a slot in the floor.

Hi Mikey, I know where Davenport is. I'm in east Orlando. I go to cars and coffee or cruise in meets about every weekend and I'll have my 4 BW most of the time. I don't usually get to anything on the south side of Orlando or the attractions area. That's a little far for me.

My 23 4BW at a local car show. My friends own the silver Camaro 1LE, the blue Mustang and the red Camaro ZL1. The BW got more comments and looks than the others.
