I too use QuickJacks but have to turn them 90 degrees to run side to side which is an approved and safe use. I do think they would interfere with the sides if you're trying to do something like install CF there.
Unlike some, I dream/plan for a FOUR post lift (much easier since it doesn't have...
Given there are no places in the Union where rear plates are optional, I'm not sure why these cars wouldn't come ready to mount a rear plate from the factory. Is this normally a PDI item??
New production usually happens after the Summer break (tooling changes take place during that week.) I would expect MY 25 cars to start rolling out the plants until late July if things are typical.
Yeah, someone got sloppy on the BOM for the assembly line. Just slap a cover on it (with the right button label) and forget it (unless you have too much time on your hands and want to test your dealership experience.)
Just had and resolved the same issue. Started as non-functioning lumbar which I ignores. Weeks later I was getting a warning for a safety assist system. What I didn't realize is the message meant the seat vibration setting I was using wasn't working. Dealership replaced an actuator and all is...
Based on what they charge for tickets for the American events vs overseas average (I only recently learned it can be cheaper to fly out of country to attend than what i paid for an Austin COTA event) , I'm thinking American F1 fans should boycott the upcoming season!
As someone else referenced, RockAuto is the way to go for brakes and many other things for these cars. I keep a set of Rotors and pads for my cars on the shelf because of RockAuto's pricing.
I reserve final judgement until I see it in person but I think i like it overall. I can see me ordering a '25 to replace my '22 since I'm putting over 15k miles/year on the car.
I think it depends on your experience. If you're a novice, you're going to be driving with the same and maybe the insurance is worth it. For experienced drivers, I'm having a hard time imagining a scenario where the cost is warranted (did have someone spin a 4BW in front of me last time I was...
Not specific to Cadillac, but in my experience this is often a simple solenoid (also check your fuse block in the manual to see if there is a specific fuse to test.)
Agreed. I suspect given lead times, these dealers ordered loaded 4s under the 'You want them and only we can get them mentality of 2022!" The market has changed drastically since then due to interest rates.
No, the factory tire is the TPC tire. There's a TPC code on your original tires that came with the car.
For those having problems finding them, I just received another set last month via Costco. Even when you can't find them in the configurator, you can always go to their local tire center...
That looks like it. The oil filters are a good bit cheaper in bulk of 6 or 8 as I recall.
No oddities changing the oil and if you like doing it yourself, I'd suggest the Fumoto plug valve to make it even easier for future jobs (and grab the optional hose to insure a drip free experience.)
