Honestly, after my experience with them, I'm surprised they even allowed reserve to be so far over MSRP. I guess they wanted it on the site so it could look good for them if it hit a crazy high number
I'd still check on it Monday to be honest. Something may happen. Dealer may upset that buyer with something else the buyer doesn't want to deal with.
They pester the hell out of us when they want us to buy. Pester them back!
Why chance it? Take what you can get now. The price increase of 2023 kind of negates the 2022 likely being over msrp. If it's a 5 its a no brainer to take the leap now imo. If its a 4 then I'd likely get what I want without compromising
there's always used cars. I was talking with my advisor at BMW about how it's crazy how much people detest going to a dealership to buy a new car but yet most people would still buy a used car for $3,000 more from a perceived reputable dealership opposed to buying that same car cheaper from a...
I ended up trading mine for $57.5K .. I paid a little over $60K for it. I could have sold it to Driveway for $62.3K when I confirmed my BW would be mine but I didn't know how long I'd be without a car. Ended up being over a month. Dealer sold it for $62.5K (or least that was the last list price)...
yeah, they always want to show you the "with tax savings" number on the trade paper.. The difference between trade and retail is getting ridiculous. Pushing 10K on most of the sports cars we in this forum would be interested in.
It's crazy to see how these sites feel about different cars. My M2C Driveway was the highest, in hindsight I should have taken their offer when I knew I had secured a car. On my RC F Carvana was the highest. Carmax is never actually competitive for me, must be a regional thing although they...
I personally feel like the site is losing traction as the market dries up but it is a rare car already.. I'd wager about 10k over sticker so between 99k and 101k
I got roughly MSRP when I traded mine in. I only had 1,000 miles on it though. On paper it was almost $3k over MSRP but other dealer adds chipped away at that.
Look for which cadillac dealers in your area have the highest markup on new or biggest premium over sticker on used and you should be...
In essence they are, since those 50k markups take forever to sell and it affects the number of allocations the dealer will get on this car. I've been badmouthing GM for this new policy but that is unfortunately what they are restricted to dealer side due to all the protections dealers have.
I...
sounds like they are trying to make a new policy retroactive (to 2020 I'd assume since I can't say I've heard of flipping regular cars prior) .. will be interesting to see how this unfolds
