I did Corvette Owner's School the first week of July in 2020. Average high's were in the 120°F. It'll be fine, the cars and buildings have air conditioning. :)
The LT4 in Corvette and Camaro trims are very reliable engines. The LT4 in the Cadillacs are slightly different than those used in the Z06 and Camaros. The main differences I think are the intake and exhaust systems leading to tuning differences. Whatever is the issue with the V series LT4...
Cadillac school starts around $3500 for out of pocket. Cadillac V-Performance Academy
Corvette school is currently $3695 and GM covers all but $1000 of it (Ron Fellows Performance Driving School).
The C7 Z06 was the original application of the LT4 and the crate engine version has been available since 2015 (before the 5BW was released). There was also a engine with the LT4 code (no relation to the current LT4) for the C4 Corvettes.
I don't know how that would work in the context that there are no AWD Camaros. But it doesn't seem to apply to Blackwings since it only effects 2020 and 2021 model year CT4 and CT5.
Wearing polarized sunglasses, I have no trouble seeing the HUD in my Z06 and wife's MDX. In my 4BW, I lose a some brightness and all color but can still see the HUD clearly.
Even the non-OEM windshield installed on my Z06 has the HUD stamping and the HUD did not require any tweaking. Double-vision is a symptom of having non-HUD glass installed.
Assuming you bought it from a dealer, have them keep the car inside. The residual heat from being inside combined with driving should keep them out of the danger zone. I drove my Z06 home in February and that's what they did for me, the drive home was fine (granted it was only a few miles!)
I believe the buzzing sound is the gas cap door locking and unlocking.
The line you have circled is a page indicator for the right panel (kind of like a scroll bar on a computer app).
