Haven't heard back from the dealer yet, I'll call them this week to see if they're still waiting on the part. I haven't had any problems otherwise, nearing 500 miles.
I'm glad I took it in too, it is important to remind myself it's under warranty and once the hiccups are under control, what remains is that these cars are track monsters that have been run for 24 hours on the track. Reading about preparing the car for the track in the owners manual because it...
Sorry for the triple post, but I brought the car to the dealership. They were unable to clear the code, service guy said he is going to order an actuator module or something, I took the car home for now since they didn't have any loaners, they'll let me know when the part is in and I'll drive...
seeing how there is a "failure to probe module" for the TCM, is it possible that there is an issue with the ECU or something not being set up a manual transmission, but rather an automatic? MT's don't have TCU's I assume, maybe the system is freaking out because it thinks the car is automatic?
I guess that is possible. I did spend time when I initially picked it up messing with the infotainment with the car off, but after that, I drove it quite a few miles, and then just left it overnight. That morning when I turned it on, the check engine light came on, and I got the codes from...
Is that safe to do? Will it mess up the infotainment and
This was the first thing I thought until I opened the gas door up and saw that it was a no cap design! Hoping it goes away tomorrow.
That's a great idea, I'll try the reset first, and so long as nothing feels off and it doesn't come back on, I'll just monitor it. Will keep you guys posted.
Clearly I'm too delicate with my new cars! Think I should worry about driving it tomorrow? Should I try to bring it back to the dealership tomorrow or what?
So I was actually able to get onstar to check the codes for me, P317C and P317D
Doesn't seem like a great thing... no flashing, so no misfires it seems at least
Haven't noticed anything strange actually driving, but I had my first check engine light, along with onstar saying the transmission didn't pass the diagnostic test. Guess I'll need to be calling the service department, but anyone have any advice? Never had any check engine light problems...
After finally getting my car home, I decided to go to my favorite twisties spot for some spirited driving. The car feels so powerful and agile. Rowing through gears is crisp and effortless. I drove this road all the time on my GTI, and it gets quote rough and bumpy in some places, but the...
Speaking of tropic storm, I'm picking my car up tomorrow, and won't have a garage available at home... thinking of bringing it to a paid garage in Danbury lol
