Blackwing Order Tracking - 2022 Model Year

Yessir. I had talked with someone at the yard there and according to them at least, the goat rodeo of waiting has something to do with wrapping your car in a bag. That and them pushing out cars without certain chipsets into a line and then when the chips roll in they just go in order of the cars...

Blackwing Order Tracking - 2022 Model Year

To all of you guys waiting for transport, your car is ready. The holdup is the stickers and bags that they use to wrap and transport the car. If you're willing to pay for transport via a private trucker then you may be able to sneak it out of that lot early but who knows. I had a really unique...

288 Miles and an engine failure

Bingo. Technician pulled the supercharger today and that's what he's thinking too

288 Miles and an engine failure

Update for you all: Not the supercharger. They pulled it off today and it still makes squeaky squeaky. They're gonna tear down heads next I believe.

288 Miles and an engine failure

They going to pull the supercharger and see if it’s just that. Most of the techs think it is, only thing would be if it dropped metal into the rest of the block. If the bearing went out it’s possible it’s partially spinning the rotors and that’s why it’s making that awful noise.

288 Miles and an engine failure

Sounds like it’s coming from the left side of the engine bay. It may be the supercharger since it did feel a loss of power when it stuttered and oil pressure didn’t really change.

288 Miles and an engine failure

Can do. I experienced a bit of that jerking/porpoising that was mentioned a little while back where someone was experiencing it and said it was some cam actuator valve that caused it but I think in my case this was more fatal to the motor

288 Miles and an engine failure

‘‘Twas a rough night last night. Cruising down the freeway at about 70 miles an hour and all of the sudden I hear metallic squeaking from the engine bay. Pretty sure the bearings went on it. 288 miles on the dash and my caddy dealership thinks it’ll probably need a new motor. Hoping it’s...

Blackwing Order Tracking - 2022 Model Year

*cries with undelivered 8/10 build* All jokes aside my dealership rep just messaged me saying he submitted the dealer request for pickup and it was accepted by GM. Worst case scenario my car is still sitting in Delta and will get on a truck as of 10/17, best case scenario it's on a train...

Blackwing Order Tracking - 2022 Model Year

VinView is a dealership tool for seeing vehicles. It gives updates and such on where the car is. The dealer sent me the snip of what it looks like.

Blackwing Order Tracking - 2022 Model Year

Does the dealer know if went on a train or on a truck? I have an ETA of the 25th but on VinView it hasn't moved anywhere. Interested in if they're even reporting moving these vehicles anymore or if they're just shipping them out and calling it good

As far as I've lurked and seen on the forums nobody has had a huge issue with quality control right?
