    Not quite. It does let me choose my picture now from my hard drive, I then choose an avatar friendly (which means very small file size) picture, then it tells me invalid file. I will now change the file name of that picture and see if it will accept it. Tried renaming my file, but still get the...

    Nope, it has an indicator pre-checked that says by checking it your not going to use a custom avatar. Problem is, it won't let you un-check it. I've hit the reset button but it doesn't do anything. Don't sweat it, just new forum teething pains. I too have a forum.
