    CT5-V Ikon anti-theft

btw, if you want to find the device, as mentioned above, most likely interfaced with a harness via the OBD plug using a passthrough. You'll have a device that looks like this either zip tied, velcro, or taped somewhere under your driver side footwell area. I pulled this from my wife's Ford...

    CT5-V Ikon anti-theft

More then likely, in your documentation package, you signed a contract for the use of the Ikon system. They do this with LoJack as well. If you look closely in that contract, it will says something along the lines that it's NOT mandatory in order for the sale to occur, but dealers will give you...

    CT5-V Ikon anti-theft

Check under the dash, prob an OBD harness, pull that crap out and toss. Dealer will maintain access to your vehicle for however long you pay for the account.

What did you do to your Blackwing today?

Post Collision Specialists - L&D Solutions Inc. and they got a deal going 15% off first orders. The removal process (in a 5BW) for the fronts, pretty easy except figuring out how to remove the seat belt pretensioner sensor plug (service manual doesn't mentioned anything about it). Two orange...

What did you do to your Blackwing today?

Gave up on the Le Monstre/Santorini belt colors, too dark blue/purplish. Removed all my belts and sent them away for an almost color match to Electric Blue belt webbing swap. Definitely makes the interior pop a bit.

    Oil Catch Can Installation

I have one in my Suburban 6.2 and its filled half way at each oil change... I didn't know the 5BW had one already, I'll need to research into that.

    Oil Catch Can Installation

The valleys in my blower did have a small bit of oil in the corners but otherwise very clean. This picture was at about 10k miles. I’ve looked at a couple catch cans. The Mightymouse requires lifting up the entire blower to access the PCV plug/replace with a new pass through angle fitting...

Correct valve position for Corsa installation…

I didn't see you were a 4BW but I can't imagine the recommended procedures, by GM would be any different for your actuators or purpose behind it. As for the Launch ready/not ready, the Launch manual does discuss these scenario, it aligns with what I mentioned above. In the OBDII section of...

Correct valve position for Corsa installation…

Sounds like you may need a few more drive cycles (various driving, slow, hard, etc) for the adaptations to commit as there are a few sensors which must become ready for the relearn to become available. Assuming there's no mechanical issue with the actual valve itself. Were you in Service Mode...

Correct valve position for Corsa installation…

No, I'm suggesting the OP buy a $129 tool, which has been mentioned MANY times by myself, if he plans on installing the exhaust, to avoid any potential headaches.

Correct valve position for Corsa installation…

Put it into Tour mode, disconnect negative, install. If you throw a valve position code, perform a relearn. Very easy process. Regardless of which mode, if the computer senses an out of range variable it will require a relearn. Might as well just grab a Launch OBD bidirectional tool (unless you...

CT5-V Bad clutch? "Reduced Performance Reduce Clutch Use"

This is one of them tricky ones.. your pushing a lot of powa. Have you tried data logging, perhaps in 4th (I think that’s our 1:1 gear), log both engine rpm and the trans output shaft speed? What’s the delta? It would help narrow in on if the output sensor is toast, or if you're slipping at a...

I DID IT !! I bought the OEM Front splitter $$$$

As Katy said, take time, press/push... but if you do break some these are the exact same clips, I ordered a bag when I did the sideskirts and my front lip. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09PRDWDWG?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_5

GM Service Manuals - is the Blackwing version the same as the general CT5 version?

Yes, I found it to be very helpful. Just make sure any of the specific manuals you get, you review them prior to the expiration of the period. Many have hyperlinks to other topic relevant manuals within each that you also want to download, e.g. Cautions, Fastener Specifications, Approximate...
