Does line lock let you roll off the brake? Or does it keep you stuck burning out in same spot till you stop? I was under the impression that you couldn't roll off ... makes the whole burning out thing pretty meh.
Agreed. I know on the 4bw I can apply slight brake while cruising around 15-20mph and holding the gas down in second gear and the car will do a rolling brake stand. Pretty cool, other cars I've had in the past don't allow this do to having to hold too much brake while rolling.
You can not have the car in race 1 or 2 . Go into normal v mode with no ptm modes selected (inactive) then press and hold traction till both lights light up. This should fix the problem.
Heres a launch I happened to record.. no timer on. Sometimes it would short shift like this and hurt the time mostly when cooler and traction was issue.
Got 3.8 stock(summer temps) and 3.7 with jb4 (lots of wheel spin). As you can see it was cool outside. With warm temps and jb4 I would think there’s a couple tenths there.
In the early run of JB4's on the ct5v the MAF was a satellite (wireless not hard wired to the jb4)
He now changed it to a hardwire set up. 2 issues with the satellite.. you cant control fuel bias per rpm and the remote start would not work in cold outside temps (like below 40f). I'm currently...
Today I installed a piggyback (JB4) on my 4bw. So far we have basically logged stock pulls. Updated unit with integrated MAF sensor is being mailed out (as my unit for my CT5v had a satellite MAF sensor) at that point will have the ability to try and hit higher boost target and see how the car...
That wave with the graphite wheels was looking real good! Graphite was unavailable when I built .. ordered a set couple weeks ago, the front are in and waiting on the rears. Original wheels I'm trying to find some snows with no luck so far. Might have to peel em back a little to find compatible...
I read that the Gm engineers had Michelin make a proprietary tire for for the ct5/4 BW's. The fronts were made with no rim protector on the inside of the tires to achieve the width they wanted with no rubbing when tracking the car. Looks like the article was accurate.
The fronts are gone but the...
