Hello all. First time owner of a 26 Coastal blue CT5V blackwing. Hoping I can get some help here. I purchased the kooks 2” headers with non catted mid pipes and the x pipe. Paired with the corsa cat back. In touring mode. The car sounds horrible. Almost like a harsh vibrating /rattling noise when slightly reving . Curious to see if anyone has seen or delt with this issue. Cannot get Corsa to call back or get them on the phone. Any help is appreciated.

Sorry to hear that. I can't recall any other similar complaints.

What's it like in loudest mode ?

Loudest mode sounds fine. It’s only with the valves closed.
Are you able to hear the noise in the clip?

how many miles have you put on the car since the install? i am curious if you are getting blow-by on the valve which might explain the rattle - wouldn’t happen in v since they’re open. this usually throws a valve error code at some point.

also, separate from your issue but useful info - i am running stainless works headers cat deleted and never got a CEL - i have about 600 miles on it since install.

Maybe 3-6 miles. Car only has 50 miles total.
no check engine light or codes but if I keep it in touring and drive it. It acts like at a certain rpm it opens the valves. Corsa’s customer service sucks

So in touring mode, the valve is actually still slightly cracked open. Think the whole part of the exhaust is still coming out of the straight piped/valved side is what you're hearing. Could also be the valve slightly rattling since its cracked open.

Go to MyMode and set the engine noise all the way down to "stealth". See if that makes a difference to what you're hearing.
Also, how did you connect the Corsa axle back to the Kooks piping? IIRC, the Corsa piping are offsetted length (one side is shorter than the other), end up not lining up correctly to the evenly cut Kooks. Most folks end up chopping and welding them together. I ended up adding an intermediate pipe on the shorter corsa pipe to make up the difference.
