I had an f80 comp with the 6 speed. I was highly considering a g80 pure……. But I don’t like the direction bmw has went. The g80s gained a ton of weight even in rwd form.
The main issue with modern bmws is they no longer design them for “drivers”. Little things like
the clutch delay valve...
New Supra wirh a manual. Toyota really dialed them in. Latest lightning lap had them lapping the same as a few year old r35 gtr
They are fairly light by modern standards 3300lb. Extremely well balanced. The b58 is a gem. The 6 speed is pretty good as well.
They are so good that they...
I was talking about hitting the brakes
Lifting off when the car starts to rotate usually makes the back end lighter. 95% if mustang crowd killer videos are drivers getting a lot of wheel speed during wheel spin, letting off which upsets the weight distribution, and in many instances applying...
I’m 40. Everybody is different. Some people don’t grow out or “risky” behaviors. Everybody makes mistakes, but choosing when you can let the tail wag diminishes these risk.
I have been driving high hp cars for almost 25 years. I currently have a lancer evo 2 that will 100% bite you in...
My understanding and experience is that track 2 only very minimally will pull timing/cut power. It does nothing to “keep the car straight” if you will. The e diff can only do so much playing with lock up levels
Iv felt the car braking individual wheels when in sport or track mode when the...
Blah blah blah. Getting sideways on a wide right of left turn, with no traffic, no pedestrian at under 50mph……. I shouldn’t do that? why even own a rwd performance car?
A menace 😂🤣😂. Only risk is to my self, and it’s minimal. The roads we drive on are a menace full of inattentive drivers...
i usually drive around in ptm race 2. If allows a lot of slit angle/sliding, but you can still hear the ecu play with timing to limit power if you get too sideways combined with steering angle.
Some of the best motor builders who I have been lucky enough to ask all said the same thing. Heat cycles, boost + vacuum asap
Some even break in motors on the dyno after a few heat cycles. Iv broke in all my new cars hard, and broken in motors I personally assembled extremely hard. All bad...
I live in Florida and drive my car fairly hard. I noticed after spirited driving, my oil pressure is at 15psi or so with ambients at 80ish. I would like that to be a bit higher especially with 95 ambients coming soon.
I want to run something a bit thicker. I’m not a fan at all of moble...
I do all the work on the car my self. Built the motor in the garage, and tune it my self. Some parts are a bit of a bitch to find. Rhdjapan and nengun usually have stuff in stock. Oem included.
The jdm prices have came down a bit recently. A good time to buy imo. Spending 45k on a 30...
Lol your heart will break when you find out I was WOT within the first 75 miles up to the lower rev limit. Multiple WOT full boost pulls and max vacuum from the lower “break-in” redline. You break in your motors how you like, I will use the method my research has shown me to work 😁
And hello...
I will always have one in my life. I absolutely love my evo 2.
Stock turbo, gsc s2 cams, evo 3 16g, e85
Car is making around 375-385whp, weighs 2550lb, and has short gearing. It’s an absolute blast.
I wanted to add some info for visibility concerning the wheel spacers I installed.
I originally purchased H&R spacers with studs as one piece. The design of the cone portion of the nut does not sit flush thus were not comparable with the oem wheels
I ended up getting some ebay/tiawan/China...
First post. I own a 2024 ct4v BW. Purchased a couple weeks ago. Did my personal preferred break in procedure. I just hit 500 miles a few days ago
I traded in a f80 competition 6 speed. I could not be happier. The BW chassis is so much better. The magnaride is amazing. The tr6060 is...
