That's great to hear I am sure they had to go to plan B,C etc. to fix it because I heard it was like a qt every 500mi?
I don't really care for FERD or Mustangs....but for some reason I REALLY like the one you have! That particular model really does it for me.
Piston Valve? That's something completely different. They are called engine valves: specifically & intake, exhaust
As for the FERD oil burner yes there were a couple hundred no doubt! PTWA or
Plasma transferred wire arc thermal spraying
I don't follow FERD but I do understand a few things...
lol...that sounds exactly like me gashing my hands on the sharp knife edged aluminum as the microfiber towel comes to screeching halt! Best part about the deal? She could care less about any of it as long as it drives and doesn't leave her stranded somewhere.
It most likely is as the actual car is 40% stiffer than Gen II V there are numerous extra body/structure differences than even a V from material choice to gauge etc. It's one of those cars you don't sell imo
That's all it comes down too? Maintenance which he clearly does? Depreciation which nobody escapes? Total cost of operating i.e. insurance warranty coverage? BMW's are cool for the guys who likes to say "look at BMW" that's about it.
Since this is car highly thought out about Weight Distribution by engineers. The front doors will be AL and rear doors FE for that reason I would surmise. As for fixing that? It wouldn't be a problem for a experienced body guy/gal super easy fix for them. It's lame that it happened but...
The Mach 1 S550? Yeah, they have the look but the chassis "Pales" the Alpha 2 owns it in spades. Unfortunately, FERD couldn't touch the chassis because of EV spend and the S650 is same ol' second fiddle garbage to Alpha 2
