    Has anyone driven 992 Manual?

    Love the 4RS, but a buddy(who is a track rat) drove a 992 GT3 and 4RS and preferred the suspension and chassis of the 992. That said, the 4RS is a go kart missile. I have a ‘24 Z51 C8 and a C6 ZR1. Both great fun! Planning on making a strong run for a C8 ZR1.

    Has anyone driven 992 Manual?

I sold my ‘23 GTS too. Car was great, but I never fell for it like my old 991.2 GT3. Want a 992 GT3 but tired of the 50 over list games even for used so I’m fine with sitting on the sideline for a while driving my two Vettes and 5BW. I’ll survive. ;)

    CT5-V Time To Part Ways

LT6 is a shrieker! Enjoy! I'm holding out for the LT7 and enjoying the 5BW and my LT2 C8 Z51 for now. Of course, I'll believe I have a LT7 when it's sitting in the garage. :D

Why choose a CT4 BW over a new BMW M3? Sincerely asking.

    CT5V BW exhaust

You need to tune with headers though and to remove CEL, correct?

My BlackWing has been relieved of its duties...

Man, not so sure that's entirely accurate. Sure, there's always a subset of the population that's "screw GM, screw Chevy", but lately they've been getting some love. Heck, I was reading a recent issue of Car and Drive on their 10 Best and the Corvette and both Blackwings were on it. Then, the...

silly question: wiring down payment to dealer for my BW

That's the way to do it. With that method, you'll have zero issues.

silly question: wiring down payment to dealer for my BW

Always google the main number of the dealer and verbally confirm wire instructions with a dealer principal before wiring money.

My BlackWing has been relieved of its duties...

Congrats, heck of a deal! Struggle with the styling as it looks like a dog dropping a deuce, but the car itself is fantastic and I bet very nice to drive, especially for 'free.' Enjoy!

    Rev Limiter

Be careful, good sir. If you rev it to 4,500rpm a few more times, you might pop the engine.

    CT4-V CT4-V BW vs Camaro ZL1 vs C8 Z51

I have a CT5-V Blackwing six-speed and just picked up a '24 C8 Z51 as a garage mate to the BW. Love the C8, but I wouldn't own it if that's my only choice versus a Blackwing. My answer for you is CT4-V Blackwing six-speed. Awesome car, very enjoyable to drive, comfy, and very capable.

    Warranty Block on 4BW M6

This would be beneficial, for sure, to eliminate the possibility of money shifts. I've been lucky to not have ever money shifted enough to pop an engine, but it's always in the back of my mind when tracking my manual cars. And, I don't like taking manual cars in for warranty work as you don't...

2024 CT5-VBW goes into limp mode

Who the heck wired your radar detector to the ignition circuit? Wow.
  14. Q

What did you all drive back in the day?

CT4BW is superior to ITS. I got the ITS as it had more rear-seat room and cargo room than the GR, though I'd argue the GR was a touch more fun to zip around town due to the AWD traction and the more immediate turn-in compared to the ITS. Absolute handling and performance favors the ITS a...

What did you all drive back in the day?

I started out with a '73 MGB, then a '93 Honda Del Sol, '97 Prelude, then out of college got a new '01 C5 Z51 and I have since vacillated between horsepower V8 cars, some flat six P-cars, trucks, and lower horsepower, but light and fun sports cars like my old '05 S2000 and my current '22 BRZ...

Also a 5BW/C6 combo. Love those supercharged GM V8's!

    2025 5BW updates

Updates are fine, but zero reason to upgrade from my '22 5BW.

People with the Sky Cool Gray seats; any regrets?

I love my sky cool "white" seats. :)

    Spring mountain- experienced racers?

I'd start at 28ish cold and try to stay around 36 or so hot as they get pretty greasy upper 30's to low 40's. Adjust accordingly.
