Default What Engine Should the Cadillac ATS-V Use?

GM is surely going to be reading a Cadillac ATS-V to go after BMW's M3. What engine do you think should be used in the ATS-V?

I think the twin-turbo V6 is the way to go. 425HP or better, less weight than a V8 and better fuel mileage.

The type of transmission also needs to be considered to best put the engine to use also.

A fifth option might be to consider the C7 engine when specifications for it are announced - 5.5L V8 maybe with direct injection and 425+ HP. Who knows whether the ATS V will get the new C7 engine before the C7 does.
