How do you turn off the DRL's? I didn't know you could (my car is a 2024).
We had a thread on here talking about the turning radius. Turns out it's double that of a Smart Car lol.
My 2010 also had a very choppy clutch... It had that dual mass flywheel, which didn't seem to work as well as the one in the newer cars....
My 24 BW clutch can get choppy if you slip it too much or not enough. You should be able to take off with no choppiness just by slowly releasing the clutch.
In my 2024, music plays much louder when using Amazon Music directly through Alexa "Alexa play ...." vs using Amazon Music or Spotify through Android Auto. With Android Auto, I can be close to 75% with the windows down on the highway to hear music at a reasonable loudness.
When using Alexa...
What is the bedding in/burnishing procedure? The typical 100 mph to 10 mph hard stops, 10 in a row or something...
FYI, I just drove the car as normal.... Brakes seem fine.
Yeah, that dealership is NOT good.
My dealership takes appointments (usually for 1 to 5 days out), looks at the car that day, and has it back quickly (1 day or so) unless they can't get a part.
I'm in Chicago as well, but I've had to go to out of state dealers to buy my V-series cars. For this car, I bought it from Sewell Cadillac in Dallas, TX and they were excellent to deal with. My 2010 I bought from a dealer in Michigan.
I typically go through 'the guy' who is on the forums...
Dude, the MORE miles you drive each day, the BETTER the car you should have!
If you drove 250 miles a day, you'd want to be in the BEST car possible for those 250 miles. A BW is perfect. Rolls-Royce Phantom might be better, but there are budget constraints to consider.
I like to heel/toe as well, but I find the automatic rev-matching to be much more accurate than my estimation of where the RPM's need to be during a downshift. Usually, I'm off by a little, but it is SPOT on every time.
The one thing I HATE about this car is the dinky ass gas tank.
I need to...
I installed the SPL toe arms and had my car aligned. That seemed to solve the problem. Before that, it was getting all crazy wonky under hard acceleration (in a straight line) in 3rd and 4th gear.
I do notice that if you have the suspension set to TOUR/SOFT, the car is a little more darty...
