CT4-V What to get after blackwing? <55K USD

I hear you but the charm of those cars is that you can wring them out a bit more on the street without risking your license. We have to shut the party down pretty quick on our 4BWs. The happiest group of drivers always seem to be on the Miata forum.

CT4-V What to get after blackwing? <55K USD

Supposedly, there are bringing back the Honda Prelude, which will be overpriced and not very exciting hybrid. https://www.motor1.com/news/718255/honda-prelude-dimensions-horsepower-specs/

CT4-V What to get after blackwing? <55K USD

Exactly, those souped up Hondas, Acuras and Toyota Corollas are supposed to be like $30-35k. :)

CT4-V What to get after blackwing? <55K USD

Yep, I find myself struggling as well. That is why I like the idea of a small lightweight car but even those are expensive now for what you get.

    CT4-V Cross shop C8 Corvette?

That is the branding problem Cadillac has. GM should create a performance division/brand just for enthusiasts.

CT4-V What to get after blackwing? <55K USD

Sometimes I regret selling my 2019 C7 Grand Sport Convertible with M7. I ordered it new just the way I wanted. The one thing I really like about Corvettes is how well they hold their value. The 4BW is a much better all around vehicle and performance is similar. On the track the C7 GS is...

CT4-V What to get after blackwing? <55K USD

Haha. I am a bit older and wiser now. The Camaro SS 1LE is a great car but in this case it just won't be any better than what you are driving now. We are driving the 4 door version of the SS 1LE with newer tech and better visibility and practicality. The next move is like you said, step up...

CT4-V What to get after blackwing? <55K USD

Well said, this is the challenge. The 4BW is hard to beat. You can change things up for the sake of change but odds are it won't be any better.

Not sure I would go from the 4BW to Camaro SS 1LE. I have owned both as well as a ZL1. The only benefit of the Camaro SS 1LE would be the V8 exhaust note. The rest is a downgrade including the tech, visibility, practically, trunk opening, seating position, etc. The 4BW has a better dash...

Cadillac Will Continue Offering ICE Cars Beyond 2030 As All-Electric Plans Change

No real shocker here but remember when we all had to get a Blackwing real quick because they were going to stop making them and go all electric? https://carbuzz.com/cadillac-wont-go-all-electric-this-decade/

    Delivery purposely delayed?

That blows. This is one of the disadvantages of ordering a car vs. wheeling and dealing with one on the lot. Usually once the incentives for a particular month expire some new ones take their place. I assume these cars are not selling any better than last month. The dealerships I have used...

    TC/Stabilitrak overly intrusive

Sounds normal. The traction and stability control does let you get a some tire spin and slip angle before shutting the party down. As long as you are still pointed fairly straight and not spinning too much it will let you power through it with the nannies on. These cars have performance...

CT4 V BW locking fuel door?

A locking fuel door will not stop those A-holes. They would crowbar it open, slash your tires, key your paint, steal your catalytic converters, etc.

    TC/Stabilitrak overly intrusive

Yep, on earlier vehicles prior to PTM, we really only had Competitive Driving Mode, which was a mode to have some fun with a safety net built in if you get too sideways. Otherwise it is Stabiltrak on or off. When the Electronic LSD (E-Diff) arrived all these PTM modes became available. Here...

OEM 4BW Graphite replacement wheel - part numbers?

Width yes, offset not exact but close. They typically recommend 3mm spacers on the fronts. See this fitment guide they put together. https://apexwheels.com/fitment-guides/cadillac/ct4-v-blackwing/cadillac-ct4-v-blackwing-wheel-and-tire-fitment-guide
